with all this snow today in NYC, i started dreaming of beautiful snow boots.
and this is what my wandering found me. check these suckers out! how freaking hot are they?!
and i never thought that a snow boot could be "hot"

in the case you aren't familar with the hunter boot, here's the little "note" that i found describing what makes them so special:
NOTE: During the manufacturing of the natural rubber compound used to make Hunter boots, a white wax is inserted into the mix to help protect the rubber. During certain conditions, this wax can be brought to the surface giving the boots a white, cloudy look known as "blooming". It does this to protect the rubber from drying out. This is a natural characteristic of the boot, not a defect, and can be wiped off with a damp cloth. Further instructions are enclosed with boots.
interesting about the wax...! josh was proud of getting the grey boots over the black, so the white cloudiness, which he thought was from dirty slush, wouldn't show..
